The Headmaster's Study

Once upon a time, in the Land of the Rising Bum, there lived a flatulent frog. He liked nothing better than to boast a bit about how nice he was, but really he was a bit of a bully boss who had the amazing ability to speak through his bottom.

If this naughty frog ever dares threaten Inspector McHammered of the Lard again, the magical thread woven on the web about his expoits (and now safely archived) and telling all sorts of tales about him will instantly reappear with a quick wave of my wand and I'll have no option but to cane him in front of the whole school.

Be warned and keep well away from The Tefl Blacklist Monsieur/Mr. Jean-Guy and keep out of trouble in Japan .

Stick to watching your Black Adder videos, it's safer.

Sandy has been forced into early retirement and has absolutely NO control over this blog. I will however immediately and without warning repost the entire thread (you blackmailed him into removing) about your school, if I ever hear from (or about) you again.

P.S. The thread for the moment is still in Google's cache so if you do a google search for "Jean-Guy Japan" you'll find it in "Cached" at about number 25. The cache will soon enough disappear though and you will be out on parole.

I personally doubt you'll be able to resist annoying me (unfortunately for you "annoying me" includes any attempt to contact me) so I think the chances of the posting reappearing are quite high.

I am just curious about what has happened. I realize that you may not be able to give out the details but I had to ask. Before JG was the infamous headmaster he used to be the infamous co-worker. I check in from time to time to see what type of mayhem he is up to. Although I cannot vouch for the veracity of the personal experiences of the different post it does fit in well with what I know of his personality. It would be a shame to loose the thread to intimidation if one feels that the truth should be told.

Thanks for the input "Old School". If you are genuine then I think you'll find the following information of interest, if however you are Jean-Guy himself then you only have made matters worse for yourself as I've left a big clue for readers to find the missing thread and I've amended the main posting in case readers don't look here......

Unfortunately for JG he has now come to a dead end and is not as clever as he thinks, as he has been cornered and daren't make a move or I'll republish the thread. Voila checkmate! If he attempts to blackmail Sandy or If I hear so much as a peep from or about him or his poxy little school again his exploits (for the moment at least out of print) will be reprinted for all the readers of this blog to study at their leisure and disseminate around the world.

However, the thread for the moment is still in Google's cache so if you do a google search for "Jean-Guy Japan" you'll find it in "Cached" . The cache will soon disappear though and he will be on parole.

It all depends on him.

I appreciate your skepticism. Only further proof that we are talking about the same person. If he is indeed on “parole” then so be it, let sleeping dogs lie. I am sure that as long as he exploits the vulnerability of his foreign teachers and staff he is bound to pop up again. Most people who have met him become familiar with his “modus operandi”. Still it would be interesting to see how many people from his past can actually vouch for him.

I've done quite a bit of research on Jean-Guy and been astonished that one Canadian running such a small school in Japan could annoy so many people and exhibit such paranoia in a relatively short space of time. IMHO (in my humble opinion) this guy's a rogue.
I could understand one of the global EFL outfits generating a bit of bad publicity here and there, which wouldn't amount to much as they employ so many people that to fall out with one or two employees would be statistically almost normal.
This blacklist is not a means for bad teachers to take revenge on decent employers. It's all about warning teachers of schools where the sheer enormity of evidence against them from various different sources makes it highly probable that they are cowboys and that the teacher should be wary.
Just consider how many thousands of schools there are in the world. You have to be pretty bad to be named on the TEFL Blacklist.
The Inspector will often accept postings warning about schools and knows that sometimes they have to be anonymous or there might be serious repercussions for the poster.
However, any poster supporting a blacklisted school has no need of anonymity and therefore must be backed up by a proper name and real verifiable address. Hotmail and Yahoo etc. do not count as they can be created anonymously. In that case you'll need to supply your name address phone number etc. If you don't want this published on the site make two postings and put your personal details in a different post and if they can be verified I'll post the supporting post without your personal details thereby giving you anonymity, though if you are supporting a school you're hardly likely to lose your job! Any school who has been wrongly included on this list will be removed if they can offer a plausible case for the defence. This could apply for example with the Britsh Institute's where the few good schools suffer because of the antics of the rogues.
A warning however that any school owners caught trying to post positive PR under a fake alias can expect absolutely no mercy.

In what case?

No reply two weeks later so the conclusion to draw is that tizzy is a tosser and the answer is - no case!
