"I had an awful time at The British School Maglie in southern Italy a couple of years ago. It was enough to put me off teaching forever. The owner is a typical Italian macho. The school is in an isolated area. The school boasts hi tech this and that but the reality is very different and the teachers are really unhappy. During the year at least three teachers just walked as they had been treated so dismissively.
I've seen a few postings about The British schools. This one is definitely to be avoided."

Nothing to do with this Italian story is this one from the UAE - Zayed University has awarded its foreign teachers a 5% payrise, whereas its local Emirati ones get 28%!!

I've been trying to 'nominate' another British School, that of Lecce, which is owned and run by the father of the owner of the school in Maglie - but the link doesn't give me the chance, as here, to leave a comment.
Regarding the father-son, Lecce-Maglie, the Italians have a saying: "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."

Just post whatever you have to say here. I weigh it up and if it seems credible will post it. If not then I won't, so give as much info as possible.
I have now received your detailed posting about the British School of Lecce and do not intend blacklisting this school without some solid proof.
You sling your mud far and wide and seem to have a suspiciously deep knowledge of how this school operates way beyond that of a teacher..
Who are you? It seems to the Inspector that you are probably a competitor abusing the TEFL Blacklist.
